Myrtos bay, Kefalonia
Many surveys put Myrtos in the worlds top 10 beaches and the the bay is undoubtedly stunning to see. However like many beautiful things it has its
dangers. The bay is shaped like many Cornish bays and is subject to the tendency to strong undertows
and rips. Watch out for onshore winds
magnified by the up drafts of the hot cliffs. Keep out of the sun during the heat of the day,
the white cliffs reflect a lot of sunlight and you can
very easily fry you. The chums have been chastised for not voting it best beach, visit it
yourself and see.

Why did the Italian come and apologised for something that was not his fault?

Why do you need to keep a lookout when lying on the sun beds (look at the picture closely)?
