Fiscado, capital of the island's poseurs, full of yachts, the chattering classes and would be beautiful people. It is one those harbour places places where Europeans love to hang out in summer. Not quite in the St Tropez league, but it probably has more charm and is not as commercialised or crowded in August. We are sure that out of high season it would be delightful (as is St Tropez). Unfortunately the colourful old boats are more and more being replaced by modern white plastic ones. Soon there will be none left.

Gerry and Anne came round the corner and looked up to see Dick precariously balancing on the top of a not so sound looking wall, several feet above them.

'What are you doing up there?' Asked Gerry rather surprised.

'Ah! It's all the the quest of artistic integrity.'

'Pardon?'

'Well up here you I'm above the power lines and they don't spoil the view of the back bay.'

Anne turned to Gerry. 'Aren't you afraid he'll fall off and hurt himself?'

'No, he's well insured.' And the girls carried on down the lane chatting together.

It's a pity about the tanker discharging though.
